Melrose II

This house was built from the ground up to make the best use of the site and provide ample front and back yard space. The mass of the house is articulated in various ways to create shade on the ground floor and outdoor decks on the second floor which allow for views across the city and of the Hollywood sign in the distance. Floor to ceiling sliding walls of glass disappear into wall pockets to encourage more outdoor living and enjoyment of the southern California climate.
